28 SEP 08 - Update v1.02
22 SEP 08 - Initial Release v1.00

Programmed in FreeBasic - http://www.freebasic.net
Uses OpenGL and Fmod.

=======================================================================

This game was created as a mini game to get me back in the spirit of
coding after spending 3 months under the Atlantic ocean. I started it
on Sep 4th. So its been roughly 2.5 weeks in development (as of 9/22/08).
I hope you all enjoy it. You're welcome to contact me if you have any
comments, questions, or criticism at the above addresses.

  Thanks,
  syn9

How to play this game -

You are orbiting a worm hole and an enemy is coming through. It is
your job to destroy them. Most of the time they fire homing bullets
but sometimes they release a bullet bomb. If you do not shoot the
incoming bullets they will take your health down.

When you see the blue star shoot it. You will receive a random powerup
which can be health, missiles, or shields.

Destroying the environment and accuracy give you bonus points. As well
  as not getting hit.

=======================================================================
Controls -

  Mouse Look
Shoot               - Left Click / Spacebar
  Switch Weapon  - Right Click
  Pause               - ESC / P

Wow ... screenies are looking very promosing. Just downloaded
it - but unfortunately - the game crashes right after the very
nice credits-intro.

But no need to worry - it really seems to be my laptop with its
cheap GFX-card since more and more upcoming productions dont
run on it.

Will test it on another PC soon.

awe-some :D Graphics in game are simple but just what it needs, colors are well chosen, Gameplay is pretty addictive.

One thing I really really loved is the impression of gigantic structures size, coupled with the music. Really cool :)

I posted on shmup_dev but I'll post here too. ;)
(small world ain't it)

I like the colors first and foremost! One thing I like about the demo feel is that people are free to choose wild colors and shapes. You have obveously done that here. The game plays smooth but honestly I'm a bit out of my element. I suppose I just need more practice. This is a really well done product for the amount of time you have made it in. The HUD is nicely done too.

EDIT
Hurray Highscore.
