Favourite Revision Releases
« on: April 25, 2011 »

Mine is definately:

We Have Accidently Borrowed Your Votedisk by Razor 1911

Why ?

- Real cracktro feeling in modern design
- Awesome oldschool spirit even in a newschool production (which is really rare nowadays  IMHO)
- Runs even on my crappy laptop
- Right sense of humour (referring to name of the production)

What's your fav revision release?

Best,
benny!

What makes it cool to me is that Rez was a musician who decided to learn something new.

Out of the ones I have watched or been able to watch, I have to say I like the razor1911 one the most, but then I am a fan of the oldskool style and while it's using ofc new stuff it feels oldskool to watch :)

The title shows some good humour after Insert no coins won the public-choice award against Fairlight.
Razor, as a warez-group, naturally has a bigger audience than all the other nominees together.
Although Rez is a nice guy and all, I had preferred to see ASD getting a price as it was the only demo which still gave me a real "wtf" moment.

ASD produces with no doubt breathtaking demos. They totally rock!

The ADS demo had some really fantastic visuals, but the music really did nothing for me, not my taste at all. I really liked that "Insert No Coins" from Razor 1911 for its retro amiga feel.
