Phenomena Challenge Voting Open!!!

Before I open the voting for this challenge I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who entered it.

I had three ideas in mind for this challenge and just before I launched the comp I chose the Phenomenon theme at random.. I almost groaned aloud when I did because it's a pretty difficult theme to make a demo out of!

I need not have been concerned because there has been a fantastic response to the challenge!  There are 10 demos for you to look at and the standard is really high!!  There are quite a lot of stand-out entries and it's hard to say what the top three will look like... That's your job to decide!

Please pick your three favourites, they are great demos and you really should look at them all before you vote, the entrants deserve it!

A small word about the sponsorship.  The cash prizes are made possible by the generosity of the people who donated to the treasury.  Even though it is very generous to abdicate from taking your cash prize if you win, please do take it.

To keep things fair, here are the rules for voting and votes are checked by administrators.

• Please vote for 3 entries, you MUST vote for 3, not 2 or 1.
• If you do not vote for 3 entris your vote will be removed.
• Please do not vote for yourself or you will be disqualified.
• Voting is open for 6 days from now.
• In the event of a tie break, there will be a vote-off.

Rogue moons are attracted by the gravity of a very brightly burning sun.  The moons collide with the sun causing a Supernova.  This entry uses Benny's TinyC5 browser framework and is an example of pixel pushing with HTML5.

With an atmospheric score in the background you are flown into a solar system, complete with a violently burning star to experience the phenomenon known as "God Rays" as the light from the sun streams around the orbiting planets.

Optimus had a great idea at the last minute to try and copy the look and feel of the amateur UFO videos that you can find on the internet.  It's very short but works and is even quite humorous, listen to the sound effects to find out what I mean.

Anyone who's heard a police siren knows what the doppler effect sounds like as the car speeds by, apparently the same kind of thing happens to light which has a subtle effect similar to a prism.
