[SPOOKY] 2spooky4u
« on: October 31, 2012 »
Hello fellas, this is my demo for our well known spooky competition, now in 13Kbs! That's why I love compression methods so much!
Enjoy, and try not getting afraid ;)

Also, if you have any problem with the 13Kbs version (compressed using kkrunchy) such as incompatibility with your Windows version or Wine for Linux users, or Anti-Virus, I also uploaded a uncompressed version, inside the Attachment, that's all folks.

And when I say 13 Kbs, i mean 13370 bytes, but it's also for the unlucky number, thats why I love compression.

The audio / video sync in the background is a nice touch, the music is very retro, and the spooky rating is through the roof, according to my spookometer.

Cool entry.

Hey, that's a nice one!
Funny lyrics that seem to sync with the sound like a karaoke.
And the size, cool!

Cool little Halloween prod, awesome style. What Optimus said about the synched lyrics, that worked really well. You can almost hear the words in the melody. I've been watching a few speech synthesis demos on the VIC-20 lately (by pwp) and while you wouldn't actually be able to hear what's being said, the on screen text helps your brain to form the words from the noise.

This was great, well done!

Thank you guys for the Feedback, it was meant to look like some retro oldskool intro.

Moroboshisan and spitfire i guess a install of your CPU drivers would help, since no textures are being rendered and both of you have no GPU.

I will upload a video so you guys can see it ;)

Edit: The uploading is done, the video is now in the first post ;)

Works fine here, retro & cool prod!

This melody also reminds me about pirates, would be nice to see some pirates sprites, skull flags or ship.
