What Mame game do you play?

These are all good games but all the cool kids are playing DonPachi and DoDonpachi on one credit. I like shmups personally because they kick you in the balls then throw you through a glass window. If you are serous about playing this genre you won't use more than one credit.

Raiden (series)?

I know what you mean.  I have play Raiden  1,  2 and there is New one in the acrade called Raiden 3 I think.

Yeah I have Raiden III for pc and ps2 it is an aquired taste.

MAME is Acrade Emulator that you play RETRO Acrade game from 1970 to 2000 I think

I played MAME but I removed everything because my brother was totally addicted to some games. But my favorite games where:

Metal Slug
OutRun
1945

And some other games wich I forgot the name of it.

Raiden III is on PS 2 JAP as I thought they have PS 2 PAL of Raiden III but no....it is rare game!

I play what PO plays plus the Psykyo games.
Notably:

Strikers 19xx series and Gunbird 2.

I could 1cc Stikers 1945 II (until 2-8) ang to to 2-7 at strikers 1999 on the arcades. Playing on mame with a 2USD ps2 controller wannabe is not fun. :*(

*back to playing Homura on the Ps2.  Still waiting for Psyvariar ultimate JP to arrive.

There was a time when I had 80 shmups for MAME. But out of guilt for unpaid games, I cut it down to the games I own. Thankfully I own many arcade games on licensed compilation packages for my ps2/Dreamcast.

Psyvariar 1 is the only import I own for my ps2 and was hardly worth he swap disks I bought to play it. I planned to import more, but I can afford 100 bucks per import. I can't imagine the guys who shell thousands out for PCB arcade games. Some of the shmup players would sell their first born for CAVE PCBs.

Oh crap! I just got Psyvariar 2 ultimate and guess what?

I 1CC'ed it on my first try!

It's freaking easy it hurts.   I've never had a SHMUP I could 1CC on my first try and I have like 3 live remaining.

GFX was excellent but the bullet patterns are too tailored for grazing which are too easy to dodge(or graze) BTW. :*(
