Some kind of strange bug seems to have happened. I don't know what exactly caused the problem however retro-remakes.net was affected too, the site was inaccessible for a while.

Tetra identified that two people posted to the Retro-Remakes site at exactly the same moment in time and that could have fudged things somehow.  Anyway, both sites are back working now, I decided not to take any chances and a full backup of all files and databases has just been taken as of 10 mins ago and they are being downloaded as I write this.

It's one of those things so unlikely you don't know what will happen if it does, and you don't expect it to until it does. If that makes sense.

All in all this host has been very good so far, I'd hate to have to move the site again... The database is 40mb on it's own!

if you need some sopport to improve stability I'd happily throw some bucks... I would be very glad to giva an extra hand du, unfortunately, I wouldn't be of any help even with maintenance or spare time (which I simply don't have!).

Moroboshisan, you are a very kind person. I don't think that any more sponosrship will be necessary this time. It really was a last resort last year and I am very grateful to everyone who contributed funds and missing files

Clyde, my recent backup that had been done before Hostpapa went tits up was done in ASCII mode by mistake, hence the reason why I had all the posts and very few of the files.
