« on: June 21, 2013 »

Interest one but more of Worrying when come games is that it going be 30FPS otherwords

Nice graphics 60FPS

Nicer Graphics 30FPS

I think 30 FPS game is things of the past but no....it look more likely that we will stuck on 30 FPS Game  sigh!

Another things I have notice when come to Watchdog demo is Annyoned shadow pop in but I guess there always problem on every console!

So if I want a PS4, I have to buy a subscription for $50 per year?

I'm getting a Wii U, it's so much simpler.

Only for multiplayer, same as the Xbox 360.

Good choice. I'm getting a Wii U, it's so much simpler.
I might get a PS3 some time next year for GTA5, I completely skipped it.

The always on Kinect is a big no no after PRISM, no matter what they say about it being possible to switch it off.
Fuck L. Ron Hubbard and fuck all his clones.

To me they look like two peas in a pod, I don't understand what all that fuss is about.
Probably some Amiga vs. Atari kind of thing...

PS 4 Digital Price is Bonker !

The Digital price should be cheaper  ::)

You better off waiting until Next XMAS to see the TRUE Next Gen Game!

UnCharted is on way to PS 4 and I have been told that is big jump in Visual Graphics! Whoa  ;D

With GTA 5 coming out so close to the end of the life of the PS3 / XB360, I would want backwards compatability before trading up to the latest system.

I never got the thing with consoles. Using my i3/intelHD4000 for all my gaming :)
Anyway with all the DLC, online pass, Buy a new Gaming PC every year for $$$ thing i practically quit playing modern games.
As it looks for me the PS4 looks more comfy, with less restrictions. The good thing in this generation is, that if i understand it correctly, XBOX/PS4/PC will be practically the same. With the XBOX being the lowest common denominator. So I hope that will mean more games on every platform. I am quite crazy hoping that they would somehow make it possible to play multiplayer independently of platfrom.

THe other question for me will be, if they somehow manage to hack some Linux on the PS4. That fast ram is quite tempting for some data intensive calculation stuff. I do not know what the GPU can offer for this application. But my guess is, that one can hope for some decent computing power.

got my ps4 on launch day with assasins creed and killzone. i love it!, don't know about the xbox one because i haven't tried it yet but i suspect it will be much the same.

really though for the price the ps4 feels like a quality bit of kit and punches much harder that the hardware suggests. one thing that is a godsent and a must try for anyone with a ps4 is remote play with the vita. it works so well. pretty much, more or less the same as my wii u.

Hehe, it's funny how similar they are. Just rebranded PCs. LOL

Anyway, I was never a fan of the modern console generation. I mean, at least the old consoles had unique interesting hardware, these consoles are generic PC and also the games are the same you can find on PC, besides the exclusives.

And a lot of the gaming tropes I don't like were popularized on consoles. Quicktime events, games that are like interactive movies, just to bask at the graphics, achievements and regen health. I don't know, but some console games I tried, it felt like I am not playing, I have some pseudo action that is simplified because it's harder to play with controllers, then cinematics, a cinematic where the monster grabs you and you have to press X or O or whatever, so predictable, so it's not about gameplay but the graphics. These are the bane of modern gaming.

I am going to hide in my cave now with my CPC :)

p.s. Also, I am quite happy with my current PC. Even if it wouldn't last long (which it might, because I bought some good CPU/GPU), there is still a lot of older games still not-dated and really good to play. Or all classic emulators, indie games and stuff. Also my favorite handhelds and Wii U, maybe I'll buy, just waiting to see if it gets more games. At least Nintendo isn't always focusing in best graphics ever or very serious depressive games.
