Nice to see that you have the dedication to remake demos you have deemed crappy. I suppose to some extent the "bad" demos/intros are just as valid as the good ones.
To me, seeing these old little gems creates memories of my teenage years. Back to the times when I never had any cares, I just went to college, went drinking with my friends, but secretly and really indulged in my real favourite passtime.
It's hard to seperate what I liked about those years, but they were all centered around the Amiga.
I had over a hundred contacts when I was at my peak, the postman used to deliver up to 10 jiffy bags a day, people would be sending me games and demos from Europe, I'd often have games before they were even in the shops and I never played any of them.
People used to write into magazines saying that piracy was bad because they didn't even play the games... I bought the games I wanted to play.
I bouyght Carrier Command, Captive, Frontier, Powermonger.. So what was the point of trading those games?
It was seeing what group won the race to crack the game first and those intros.
I used to watch them for hours, I still watch them for hours. I had my favourites, I even had some that were not so good.. Some games had really great cracktros on them but were totally bad games but I kept those games anyway..
Castlemaster was a crappy 3D game, I loaded it up once, I loaded this cracktro 1000's of times. The cracktro is shit.
It needs a great logo by Angeldawn or Havoc or Krest, It needs a better font, something in 8 colours with intricate lettering.
There should be a nice copperlist gradient on the screen, very subtle, behind the stars.
The only things that are right about this intro are the amazing music and the pace of the bounce of that logo, but believe me I have watched this intro so many times, it's etched into my brain, it's part of my life and I love it in a nostalgic way.. The music is still something I can listen to for a few hours before I have to turn it off.
They all have to be converted to preserve the past for all time and I'll do my best to convert as many of them as I can, as faithfully as I can.

I feel kind of bad for a lot of people who are too young to remember what the scene used to be like in the early 90's and late 80's. It was certainly something different. Nowadays everything is at your fingertips and every lamer has a voice.. Back then people worked hard to be in the best groups.
When you went to a party, you'd have lots of people to talk to because you probably swapped with dozens of people.. I don't know, It just felt so much more exclusive and underground back then. It's still great now, there are so many fantastic people, lots of them are on this forum, but these intros take me back 15-20 years you know?
