All my PCs have more than one core or HT, from my Atom netbook to my i7 workstation.

My laptop has AMD Phenom II X2 (3 GHz).
Not bad for a $500 dollar machine.

4 i7 cpu's (8 virtual) in my brand sparkling new laptop!

Bought it for my new job, but now I fear my demo's won't be getting the optimisations they may need.

It`s bit pointless having 8 Core when there is no software that does used all 8 core unless you try coding software for it.
I can understand if people want FUTURE Proof PC but for 8 Core? There will be more core to come when years go by!

IF I remmy correctly, Intel was playing round with 48 Cores ! Whoafffffffff  :o ;D
